About The Owner

As Owner of Consolidated Services my vision is to provide to you the owner the highest levels of integrity combined with 25 years of invaluable experience. Couple that with the latest technological advances and real Craftsmanship and you have Consolidated Services. I began in 1983 as a home repair Contractor in Bradenton Florida. My education was at a local Junior college where I studied with a Great Professor who was a retired contractor. He taught me that those who do not charge appropriately for their services usually don't meet the test of time. In my 25+ years in this business I have taken a little from each project and built on those experiences. I am not a large contractor and never intend to be. Small means manageability and control of quality. I never compromise dollars and cents for quality. Those who do usually regret it.

I have enjoyed the opportunity to participate in several community projects over the years. One of the most significant was a remodel and addition to a Battered Women's Shelter in Bradenton Florida. On this project I drew the plans and helped with the permitting process. Working with a retired Chemical Plant Engineer, Bill Berry, Was perhaps the greatest gift I have yet received from this business. Engineers have a different take on things you know, and Bill taught me to look at Construction form a slightly different point of view. I learned to engineer load calculations and all kinds of things that are truly critical from a design standpoint. In 2004 I helped a local mission in Hamilton, Ohio and was able to assist in a small way to help build a new structure for New Life Baptist Mission. They serve 33,000 meals a year to the homeless and underprivileged and provide counseling and a host of other services to the needy. In July of 2000 I became a member of the Butler County Alcohol & Drug Addictions Services Board (ADAS). They are responsible for the disbursement of 6 mil $ a year for Education, Prevention and Treatment to residents of Butler County.

After relocating to Polk County in 2006 I sat for my  Contractors exam and received my license in  2007.  I have returned to college part time seeking a degree in , what else– Engineering.

My thanks to those who have assisted me to become a man of character and principle and to the one who presides over us all.
