Why CAD Design ?
Most often when I first visit a project the customer has a rough sketch of the proposed changes. From these first discussions we enter known information into the computer and begin the process of designing a shell. As is the case in the actual build process we have to first arrange the site, grade, boundaries and then begin laying out the foundation complete with elevations. So in effect, building in a computer model is generally the same process as the actual build.
Key advantages of this approach include:
* Measurements that will not work are discovered. If it won't work on paper, it won't work in the field.
* We have the option to view what each change looks like in real time , just by the click of a mouse.
* Colors & textures can be applied to walls, cabinetry, doors, windows, ect. the options are limitless.
* These files shown below can be emailed, printed, or traded thru a mark-up program giving the customer flexibility to view and alter the design without even being present .

A 3d automated image is developed of the house with intended changes
This is a sample Floor Plan lay out. From this we can render pictures as shown above.
